Avantis Education, creators of the world’s first virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) solution for education, is celebrating this week after ClassVR was shortlisted for another coveted industry award.
With the first round of judging complete, the Education Resources Awards (ERAs) have confirmed ClassVR as a finalist in the Classroom Teaching Aids category. Examining products against criteria such as impact on learning, support for the work of teachers and pupils, and the innovative nature of the resource, this year’s category is hotly contested by leading edtech solutions.
“This latest award recognition is testament to the continued investment we make in the development of ClassVR to ensure it stays at the forefront of global education needs,” explains Gillian Rhodes, Chief Marketing Officer, Avantis Education.
“Since its initial launch in 2017, we’ve made significant enhancements to ClassVR, particularly in relation to content – the latest being the launch of Eduverse. Powering ClassVR, Eduverse is a hugely rich content engine packed full of thousands of curriculum-aligned resources – including Mathematics and English Language for the first time.”
Organised in association with the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the ERAs highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplier industry, all working together to encourage the very best in education.
Now firmly established as the premier annual event to celebrate outstanding success for the suppliers and teaching professionals of the education sector throughout the UK, these awards are recognised by the teaching profession as the benchmark of excellence, aiming to encourage the raising of educational services and product standards throughout the industry.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony to be held on Thursday 18th April 2024 at The National Conference Centre Birmingham. Visit the ERA website to view the full list of finalists.
