Avantis Education appoints new Creative Technical Producer to shape the future of VR/AR content

Avantis Education, creator of ClassVR – the world’s leading VR/AR solution designed exclusively for education – has appointed Gemma Hagen as Creative Technical Producer, a newly created role that puts content at the forefront of the company's growth strategy.

Eduverse is the powerful content engine that delivers access to thousands of curriculum aligned ClassVR resources. As Creative Technical Producer, Hagen will be heading up the team that develops Eduverse content and defining the roadmap for future lesson materials. With a wealth of experience in broadcast television producing specialist documentaries for Channel 4, National Geographic, and Discovery, Hagen brings an exciting perspective and unique expertise to the Avantis team.

Hagen pursued a career in broadcasting to fulfil a passion to share knowledge and make a positive impact through education. After over a decade in the sector, Hagen recognised that future generations had shifted content consumption to social media and streaming channels. This led Hagen to transition into this new space to produce content for educational institutions across the globe, including the Smithsonian Institute the White House Historical Association.

“I am thrilled to have joined such a dynamic and forward-thinking company,” says Hagen. “I look forward to leveraging my experience, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with VR/AR, and creating groundbreaking content that resonates with, impacts, and inspires students.”

Commenting on the appointment, Bruce Grove, Chief Technical Officer, Avantis Education, said: "Welcoming a Creative Technical Producer to Avantis underscores our commitment to continued investment in leading educational content. Gemma’s expertise and strategic direction will be instrumental in elevating the Eduverse for schools worldwide."
